The Qatar Olympic Committee announced the Qatari national team's shooter Rashid bin Hamad Al-Athba's second-place finish at the 10th Asian Shotgun Championship held in Kazakhstan.

As reported by Qatar News Agency, Al-Athba achieved a target rate of 27/35 points, to take second place in the overall ranking of the competition, which saw the participation of the top eight shooters.

Kuwaiti counterpart Naser Al-Meqlad took first place and the gold medal, who achieved a target rate of 31/35 points, in the final qualifying of the competition.
