Registration Closing Soon for Josoor Institute’s Second Set of Professional Certificates and Diplomas Programmes

Applications deadline set on 27 July 2015 for ‘Football and Sports Management’ and ‘Major Events Management’ programmes

Doha, Qatar – 25 July, 2015: Josoor Institute, a centre of excellence founded by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, has on going registration for the second intake of its professional certificates and diplomas programmes on “Football and Sports Management” and “Major Events Management”. For those who have not registered yet, the application deadline is 27 July 2015 inclusive.

Conducted in partnership with leading international academic partners such as Georgetown University, University of Liverpool and Leeds Beckett University, the certificates and diplomas programmes will be delivered in six blocks spread over an 18 month period, between August 2015 to October 2016. The delivery of the first block will take place from 2-6 August 2015.

Josoor Institute is inviting all individuals working in, or having an interest to work in the sports management or major events management industries to take part in the programmes. These programmes will provide them with invaluable insight into the sports and mega events industries. The programmes will instil in delegates a broad understanding of the requirements for an exceptional management of sports and events, including planning, managing and marketing of sporting and non-sporting events. Delivered in part time format, the programmes allow delegates to continue with their education and professional careers.

The programmes include topics like the analysis of goals and resources, contemporary issues in the global events industry, advanced marketing and sponsorship in football and sports, event production and law, media and communication in football and sports, staff managements, the implementation of action plans among many others. It will be accompanied by specific case studies and relevant examples from the sports and events industries.
