QNB Stars League’s second leg starting this week

The Qatar Stars League (QSL) on Sunday, 4th November, held the Technical Meeting for the 2018-19 season QNB Stars League’s second leg starting on Thursday, 8th November, with Week 12 action.

QSL’s Competitions Department Director Ahmed Al Adsani chaired the meeting, attended by Head of Operations Ahmed Al Sayed, Referees Committee representative Abdulla Al Balooshi as well as representatives of 12 competing teams — Al Duhail, Al Rayyan, Al Sadd, Al Sailiya, Umm Salal, Al Gharafa, Al Arabi, Al Khor, Al Ahli, Qatar SC, Al Kharaitiyat and Al Shahania.

Al Adsani wished the club representatives success ahead of the start of decisive second leg. He expressed his hope to continue constructive co-operation to achieve common goals in the best interests of professional football and QNB Stars League.

The team colours and jerseys were chosen for players and goalkeepers during the meeting that stressed clubs must bring their own team and reserve players for matches and the importance of being at the stadium on match days well in time.

The teams’ home jersey colours will be: Al Rayyan (red and black), Qatar SC (full yellow), Al Duhail (full red), Al Sadd (full white), Umm Salal (full black), Al Ahli (full green), Al Gharafa (full yellow), Al Arabi (full red), Al Khor (full blue), Al Kharaitiyat (full blue), Al Sailiya (blue and black) and Al Shahania (full blue).

It may be recalled that the QSL had released the schedule for Weeks 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 of the 2018-19 season QNB Stars League. The remaining fixtures will be announced in co-ordination with all partners and stakeholders. The kick-off times will be in accordance with the winter.
