Qatar's Mohamed Abdelaziz and Owaab Barrow clinched gold medals in the 200m and 110m hurdles respectively at the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina yesterday.
Abdelaziz and Barrow both were leading after stage one, and yesterday they also won the stage two to bag gold medals. Abdelaziz's combined time after two races was 41.78 seconds, ahead of Jamaica's Antonio Watson (42.41) and Brazil's Lucas Vilar Conceicao (42.61). Barrow topped the timesheet in 26.50 seconds. Kenny Fletcher of France took silver, while the bronze went to Lok Hei Addis Wong of Hong Kong.
