The Qatari Olympic team has started its first preparatory phase in preparation for qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The U-23 Asian Cup will be hosted by Thailand from 8 to 26 January 2020.
The Olympic team started training without Al Duhail and Al Sadd players, who will join the preparation camp after the AFC Champions League matches.
The U-23 Asian Cup draw will be held on September 27 in Thailand.
Qatar qualified for the U-23 Asian Cup after topping its group in the qualifiers, which included Oman, Afghanistan, and Nepal.
