H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of Qatar Olympic Committee crowned Qatar Beach Volleyball Team with ANOCWorld Beach Games silver medal at the Katara Cultural Village on Wednesday Qatar ended their ANOC World Beach Games campaign with a silver medal in 4x4 volleyball.
The hosts went down fighting to the United States 2-0 (18-21, 24-26). It was a golden double for the USA as their women also won gold defeating Brazil 2-0 (21-16, 21-9).
The mens bronze was claimed by Indonesia, who secured a hard-earned 2-1 (21-13, 19-21, 15-11) win over Poland.
Earlier in the day, the womens bronze-medal was clinched by Canada, who secured a 17-21, 21-15, 16-14 win over Australia.
