Doha will host the 40th World Squash Championship from November 8 to 15, organized by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.
The tournament, with a total prize pool of US $ 353,000, will see 64 players, including the world's top 56, and eight players invited by the organizing committee.
This year's World Squash Championships will replace the Qatar Classic, one of the platinum tournaments of the Squash Professional Tour, which is organized annually by the Squash Federation, but will return to its normal place in the international calendar next season.
