Qatar Stars League aligns with club coaches

The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held a co-ordination meeting with QNB Stars League and Second Division League coaches at its headquarters in Al Bidda Tower, in line with its policy of continuous consultation and co-ordination between the two parties.

The meeting was attended by Ahmed Khellil Abbassi, Executive Director of Competitions and Football Development at QSL, Ahmed Al Adsani, Director of Competitions Department at QSL, Miguel Heitor, Acting Director of Football Development at QSL, Ali Hamoud Al Nuaimi, Head of Competitions at Qatar Football Association (QFA), and Abdullah Al Balooshi, representative of QFA's Referees' Committee.

Abbassi, while welcoming the attendees, stressed the importance of having such meetings, development process between QSL and clubs, and increasing the technical level of tournaments and players.

The meeting also discussed a number of important points, such as the development of football and key technical observations made by the coaches.

Abbassi said, "We met with the coaches to get their views on how to contribute towards the development of league championship, professionalism, and football in general, based on their technical expertise. We've coached with high technical levels. Benefiting from their wide experience through direct communication is very important as they're an essential part of the football system."
