Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) announced that its second edition of the 2022 Beach Games will be held from March 19 to 25 at Katara Cultural Village.
QOC invited beach games lovers and amateurs to sign up their names and details via a link set up on the QOC official website and social media accounts. The tournament will include four beach sports, football, karate, volleyball, and 3x3 basketball.

The QOC Beach Games is a community activity that will help to promote these sorts of games inside the Qatari society, to keep the country's unparalleled success after hosting the 2019 ANOC Beach Games in Doha. The QOC is keen to preserve this cognitive legacy of ANOC Beach Games.
On this occasion, the Director of the 2022 QOC Beach Games Rashid Adiba said that the tournament is one of the community events and activities organized by the QOC annually to take all individuals of the society to greater standards of health and to improve their physical fitness.
He added that the first edition of the games reached its main goal, brought together a big number of enthusiasts and lovers, and has seen an exceptional turnout and success, noting that the number of participants from citizens and residents reached more than 500 athletes; also more than 3000 spectators attended the games.
