Qatar's Femi Ogunode won the gold medal of the 100m race in 10.19 seconds in the Arab Athletics Championships in Tunisia.
Tosin Ogunode of Qatar came in second place with 10.41 seconds followed by Oman's Baraket Al Harithi with 10.43 seconds. Team Qatar has raised their medal tally to five medals, including a gold, three silver, and one bronze.
Secretary-General of the Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF) and head of Qatar's delegation to the championship Mohamed Al Fadala praised the organizational level of the championship at this difficult time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, thanking the Arab and Tunisian federations for this honorable organization.
