The Qatari national basketball team qualified for the quarter-finals of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2023 hosted by Singapore until 2 April after finishing second behind Iran in Group D.
The Qatari team set a date in the next round on 2 April with its Australian counterpart, while Iran, first in Group D, will meet in the same round the team of New Zealand the second in Group B.
The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2023 is of great importance, being qualifier for the Olympic Games (Paris 2024), where the champion will play the Olympic play-off with the continental champions to determine the participating teams in the Olympics.
