The Qatar Football Association made a Twitter announcement on 19 August 2022 that Qatar's football team will be participating in a four-nation tournament in Austria ahead of the World Cup 2022.

The tournament begins on 20 August 2022, where Qatar will be facing Jamaica, Ghana & Morocco.
Qatar will be playing the opening match against Morocco at the Wiener Neustadt Stadium.
Qatar will then play against Ghana on 23 August 2022 and will be facing Jamaica on 26 August 2022.
