Qatar will begin its 2019 Copa America campaign on Sunday against Paraguay and completed its preparations in the training camp in Porto Bela.
The Asian champions Qatar play in Group B along with Argentina, Paraguay, and Colombia. Qatar will play against Colombia on June 19 and will take on former World Cup champions Argentina on June 23.
H.E. President of Qatar Football Association (QFA) Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani, General Supervisor of the Qatari national teams Talal Al Kaabi, QFA technical director Ivan Bravo attended the final training.
H.E. QFA President stressed the readiness of the Qatari team for Paraguay game.
The Copa America will take place from June 15 to July 7 at six stadiums in five cities with the participation of 12 teams. Qatar and Japan are the invited teams for this years Copa America.
The Qatari team is taking part upon an invitation sent to the Asian champion by the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL), to be the first Arab team to participate in this tournament.
