The draw ceremony for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016 was held on Saturday, January 2^nd, 2016 at the ST Regis- Doha.

In attendance were Tareq Zeinal, Assistant Secretary General at QTF; Saleh Al Mana ExxonMobil; Karim Alami, Tournament Director and Saad Al Mohannadi, Assistant Tournament Director. They were joined by the three players Pablo Andujar from Spain, Sergiy Stakhovsky from Ukraine and Elhan Marsel from Turkey.

Before the draw ceremony, Tareq Zeinal and Saleh Al Mana held a press conference announcing the 22^nd consecutive year of ExxonMobil being the title sponsor of the esteemed ATP World Tour 250 event. Tareq said of this event: “As a first event of the ATP World tour 2016 Calendar, the tournament will see an elite of tennis stars competing here in Doha, including the world no. 1 Novak Djokovic, World No. 5 Rafael Nadal, World No. 6 Tomas Berdych and the defending Champion world No. 7 David Ferrer” and he took the chance to thank ExxonMobil Qatar represented by Mr. Alistair Routledge, the president & the General Manager of ExxonMobil Qatar and Mr. Saleh AlMana Vice President of ExxonMobil Qatar, for their generous support to the game of tennis.”

Saleh Al Mana said this is our 22nd year as title sponsor of the tournament, and we are looking forward to witnessing more events like the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016.”

ATP Supervisor Gerry Armstrong hosted the Draw which took place at 6:00 pm and was attended by different local and international media representatives.
