The host of the tournament Qatar, defending champions Oman, 10-time winners Kuwait, Iraq and Yemen will face each other and fight for the Arabian Gulf Cup Qatar 2019 trophy. Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have pulled out of the tournament because of the ongoing diplomatic crisis with Qatar.
Host and AFC Asian Cup 2019 winners Qatar will face Yemen in the opening match of the tournament on 27 November while Iraq face Oman in the other match of the first match day, according to the Fox Sports Asia.
The tournament draw was held in Doha last week.
