PSG Women Football Team concluded their training at Aspire Zone Their First Ever Qatar Ladies Tour

Aspire Zone has hosted the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Ladies Football Team, as part of their first ever Qatar Ladies Tour. High profile PSG players as well as staff stayed at Aspire Zone for a training and team building camp from Sunday, March 29th to Thursday, April 2nd.

This is the first time that the PSG’s Women Football Team has traveled to Qatar as they make Aspire Zone their temporary home. Over the four days, the PSG Ladies Football Team was able to take full advantage of the state of the art training and medical facilities at Aspire Zone.

The PSG Ladies Football Team is clearly one of the powerhouses of the Women’s First Division, having moved up to another level over the past two seasons. With the arrival of a new coach, the experienced Farid Benstiti and a host of international players, the squad keeps getting stronger and stronger each campaign.

Aspire Zone offers the perfect combination of unparelled facilities, various training venues, and supreme accommodation making it the ideal grounds for elite training camps for both international teams and athletes. In addition, Aspire Zone boasts seven outdoor football pitches and a warm up track and field that the PSG Ladies Football Team also had access to.

Aspire Zone also hosted the world renowned PSG Handball Team twice in 2013/2014 for a week-long training camp during which 25 of PSG’s top players traveled to Doha, Qatar. Meanwhile, the PSG Men Football Team also had the opportunity to experience the highest quality training fields and multipurpose halls, which have been built for a variety of sports, at Aspire Zone.

Farid Benstiti, PSG’s Women’s Coach, added: “The PSG Women Football team is very proud to be in Doha and to take part in the club’s fantastic idea, and we are very happy to be here. It is very important for the sport that we continue to train and remain professional, and the training conditions in Doha are fantastic for this. The players, team and staff are proud to take part in PSG’s project and we will continue to remain strong and to focus on our objective.”

In recent years, a number of prestigious clubs have visited Aspire Zone including Manchester United FC, the Great Britain Archery Team along with the US’s U17 Men’s Basketball Team. Aspire Zone will also be hosting this year Australian Swimming Team and Welsh Rugby team in July as well as the British Paralympic Athletics Team in October 2015.
