Recently crowned French champions for the tenth time, Paris Saint-Germain are travelling to Doha on 15th and 16th May.
Originally scheduled last January, this tour will be an opportunity for the Parisians to meet their Qatari supporters and take part in a series of events organised with the Club’s partners present in Qatar, such as ALL, Aspetar, Ooredoo, Qatar Airways, Qatar Tourism and QNB. The team will fly out after their Ligue 1 match against Montpellier on matchday 37.
This trip to Qatar – a country that is getting ready to host the football World Cup, starting on 21st November – is an opportunity to shine the spotlight on the innovative features of the country’s sports facilities. The team’s players will visit two of the stadiums built especially for the event. Several of the players will take part in a live feed on Instagram with Qatar Airways, to show as many viewers as possible around these football venues.
Over the last ten years, Qatar has welcomed various Paris Saint-Germain tours, such as the Qatar Handball Tour in 2014 and 2015, the Qatar Ladies Tour in 2015, and the Qatar Tour in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022.
