THE world-renowned Paris Saint-Germain Academy is coming to Qatar this December thanks to Evolution Sports Academy. Registration is now open for all young people across the country aged between 6 and 18. This is the first time the Paris Saint-Germain Academy will be in Qatar and will be held at Doha College, Al Waab campus and Lycee Voltaire West Bay school from December 8 – 12. Paris Saint-Germain is one of the world's most famous football clubs and this exciting event is an opportunity for players, both boys and girls, to enjoy a positive physical training experience, supplemented with important life skills all delivered in a professional footballing environment. Established in 2005 in close collaboration with the Elite Academy, especially in terms of the development of a technical program, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy provides football fans with the opportunity to step inside the world of the club, while benefitting from the know-how of Paris Saint-Germain’s top coaches. It offers a unique training methodology tailored to each individual’s profile (age, level etc.), focusing on three core principles: o Offering all participants the unique Paris Saint-Germain player development know-how. o Promoting the noble values of sport. o Discovering potential new talents. Since Paris Saint-Germain Academy’s creation in 2005, more than 120 camps have been organized in Paris for youngsters aged between 12 and 19 from all over the world. Evolution Sports’ soccer coaches who are UEFA qualified will also lead daily sessions alongside Paris Saint-Germain staff establishing a professional relationship of shared methods and training principles. Since 2007, Evolution Sports has been responsible for more than 20 soccer camps in Doha for young people aged 5 – 15 years old and this year will officially introduce Paris Saint-Germain to the local community. The ‘Paris Saint-Germain Academy by Evolution Soccer’ in Qatar, costs QR1200 per student, and will run from 3pm Sunday to 6pm on Thursday. All students will receive a Paris Saint-Germain welcome pack including training kit and a fun, action-packed program of specialist football training combined with life skills that have made Paris Saint-Germain players so successful. Qatar will also play host for the yearly Paris Saint-Germain football winter tour, including a friendly match against Real Madrid in January 2, 2014. Participants of the ‘Paris Saint-Germain Academy by Evolution Soccer’ camp in December will also have the opportunity of winning 30 complimentary tickets to the forthcoming game next year.
