Nasser Al Attiyah has won the Dakar Rally 2022 on 14 January 2022 and enabled Qatar to lead the standings for the fourth time. Al Attiyah, nicknamed the Prince of the Dunes, had earlier won the title in 2011, 2015 and 2019.
Dakar Rally is a 14-day off-roading motorsports event. This year it was held in Saudi Arabia from 1-14 January 2022. It is considered one of the most prestigious off-roading competitions in the world.
