French sports outlet L'Equipe has said on its website that Lionel Messi has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) over a transfer. "His plane is expected in the next few hours in the French capital, Paris and he will sign an initial two-year deal", reported L'Equipe on 10 August 2021.
At a press conference on August 8, 2021, Messi made a tearful exit from his 20-plus year spell at FC Barcelona.
