Limited fans to be allowed at Amir Cup 2021 finals (QFA)

The Amir Cup Local Organizing Committee (LOC) announced that the 2021 Amir Cup final will take place at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on May 14 in the presence of a limited number of fans subject to certain conditions.

Only fully vaccinated people and those who have recovered from COVID-19 are eligible to buy tickets. No spectators under 16 years will be allowed for the final, the organizers said in a statement on Saturday.

Vaccinated individuals must have received their second shot no later than April 30, while those who have been infected with COVID-19 must have recovered between November 14, 2020, and April 24, 2021, the LOC said.

Fans who attend the final must wear a mask, adhere to social distancing and sit in the allocated seat according to their ticket. Fans must also show their EHTERAZ application upon entering the stadium and have their temperature checked.

Details of how to obtain tickets will be announced at a later time.

This is the second Amir Cup Final to be held in the last five months. The 2020 edition of the competition was played at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium the fourth FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament venue to be inaugurated by the SC.

Al Sadd lifted the 48th edition of the Amir Cup after a 2-1 victory over Al Arabi.
