Josoor Institute reaches out to wider MENA region: launches workshop in Jordan

Amman, Jordan – 10 September, 2015: Josoor Institute, a centre of excellence for sports and events industries, founded by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), launched yesterday at Al Hussein Youth City in Amman a professional development workshop titled “An Introduction to Venue and Stadium Management”.

The professional development workshop is the result of a partnership between Josoor Institute, Jordanian Higher Council for Youth and the Local Organising Committee (LoC) for FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016 and focuses on key aspects of modern venue operations and management in the context of the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016 and other mega events.

The opening notes at the two-day workshop were delivered by Dr Sami Mashour Al Majali, President, Higher Council for Youth, Samar Nassar, CEO, Local Organizing Committee for FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016 and Afraa Al-Noaimi, Director of Operations (acting), Josoor Institute.
