His Highness (H.H.) the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met Monday with His Excellency (H.E.) President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Dr. Thomas Bach, on the sidelines of the meetings of the 134th session of the IOC General Assembly, currently in session in Lausanne, Switzerland.
At the outset of the meeting, HH the Amir congratulated Dr. Bach on the occasion of the inauguration of the new headquarter of the International Olympic Committee "The Olympic House", which coincides with the 125th anniversary of founding of the Committee.
The meeting also reviewed areas of cooperation between Qatar and the IOC and ways of promoting them.
H.E. President of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani attended the meeting.
