The 24th Arabian Gulf Cup tickets can be exchanged without any additional fee

As Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain have confirmed their participation in the 24th Gulf Cup, a new draw will take place today in Doha. This statement came during a press conference held Wednesday to announce the latest developments and new arrangements regarding the Gulf Cup in Doha, attended by Vice-President of the AGCFF Jassim Al Shukaili, and Secretary-General of the AGCFF Jassim Al Rumaihi. According to new dates, the tournament will start from November 26 and will run until December 8.

The AGCFF appreciated the response of the associations of these countries to the invitation extended to them which was presented as a last attempt to reunite the friends under the umbrella of the tournament that has always been one of the successful means to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and love among the peoples of the region, which underlined its ability to overcome the challenges under the circumstances the region is undergoing.

Tickets exchange

Ticket sales have been suspended as of now to facilitate the participation of Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain in the tournament. There will be a new draw today at 5:30 pm at the Grand Hyatt Doha, after which sales will resume. People who have already bought tickets will be able to have new tickets issued by Souq Waqif, Katara, Mall of Qatar, Villaggio Mall and Doha Festival City without paying anything extra. Those that have bought e-tickets will have their amounts returned to them in their banking accounts within 10 working days.

The tournament to return to the two-group system

With these changes, the tournament will return to the two-group system. In the next few hours, a new schedule will be set for the tournament which will be held from 26 November to 8 December.

Jassim Al-Shukaili said that the date of the tournament was postponed by two days in recognition of the participation of Saudi Club Al Hilal in the final of the Asian Champions. He pointed out that the doors of Doha are open to all the Gulf masses in order to attend and support their teams, stressing: "We are confident that the State of Qatar would make the Gulf 24 a success".
