Aspire Zone Foundation held on Monday, November 2nd, the Aspire School Kids Run, which aims to encourage schoolchildren to engage in sports and fitness, to follow healthy lifestyles, and explore Aspire Park and its different facilities. Schoolchildren aged 7-12 competed in 1.0KM races in four groups, split into boys and girls. Winners were awarded trophies at the end of the race.
This November, Aspire Zone Foundation launches an exciting line-up of competitions and activities designed to encourage the local community to be active and participate in sport. Running until April 2016, the line-up includes activities such as the Aspire Run in the Park, Kids Art in the Park, the Aspire Zone Open Aquathon, Aspire Splash and Dash and the Aspire Triathlon GMC TriSeries. All activities will be held at Aspire Zone’s various venues, including Aspire Park, Hamad Aquatic Centre, and others.
