Egypt's Al Ahly defends title after beating Morocco's Raja Casablanca in CAF Super Cup final

Egypt's Al Ahly defended on 22 December 2021 their CAF Super Cup, after defeating Morocco's Raja Casablanca (6-5) on penalties, in the match played at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium Stadium (Al Rayyan Stadium).

The game ended in a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes, with Al Ahly getting the equalizer in the 90th minutes, thanks to Taher Mohammed Taher. Raja Casablanca had taken the lead in the 13th minute, with a strike from Hamid Ahdad.

Al Ahly is the titleholder of the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup, having beaten Morocco’s RS Berkane 2-0 in Doha on 28 May 2021.
