The 2-week long Redbull Back 2 Back E-Football tournament is coming to a close as the four excitement-filled qualifying rounds have finally wrapped up during the last 2 weekends. With 16 overall teams who will try to outwit each other this June 8 and 9 at the La Liga Lounge, there's only one aim for each duo—and that's to win.
Red Bull Back-2-Back—a new eSport platform for FIFA 18 on PlayStation 4 in Qatar—was born from players and for players. The format is to create a 2-layer team and compete in offline qualifiers leading to the national final. The sportive angle is that teams need to score 2 consecutive goals to win.
The platform is a real test of teamwork between two players as the 2v2 format changes the whole game dynamics as well as supports the players to play with their favorite teammates using strategy, communication & skills. Teams are now focused on how well they can coordinate with their teammate to score two consecutive goals.
Inspired by the players, Red Bull Back 2 Back is designed to pit duos and their controllers in the heat of it. This is no ordinary e-Football tournament. There’s only one way up; score two goals consecutively. We’re talking double or nothing! Double the numbers, double the opponents and, of course double the glory!
You don’t get to choose your opponents, but you do get to pick your teammates. The strategy and skill will not come strapped to your controller, so your party of 2 will have to stir the pot of teamwork and make the dream work.
The champions can bring home up to 30,000 QR in cash prize.
