President of Qatar Police Sports Federation Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah, who is also President of the Arab Police Sports Federation (APSF) has announced that Doha will host the 44th General Assembly of the Arab Sports Federation for Police and 107th the Executive Office meeting as well as the 8th Arab Police Cross Country Championship.
President of Qatar Police Sport Federation and President of the Arab Police Sport Federation (APSF) told a press conference held today in Doha that these activities are held under the patronage of H.E. the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al -Thani and that 14 countries will participate in the General Assembly and Executive Office meetings including the State of Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, Sudan, Palestine, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania, Somalia in addition to the State of Qatar, and (12) of them will participate in the 8th Arab Police Cross Country Championship.
He added that the meeting of the 107th Executive Office meeting will be held tomorrow, Sunday, to discuss a number of issues such as the administrative report approved by the 43rd conference of Arab police and security leaders held in Tunis from 11-12 December.
He said that the 40th General Assembly of the Arab Sports Federation for Police will be held on Monday with the participation of 14 countries, which is an excellent number, and as a response to those who demanded the illegitimacy of the meeting in Doha, thanking in advance attending countries. He expressed hope that all meetings and Arab Police Cross Country Championship would be successful.
The meeting will consider some of the decisions of the previous executive office for approval, and the approval of the records of the previous 43rd general assembly, which was held in the Lebanese Republic in December of last year. Also considering the financial position of the federation. He also announced the holding of the 8th Arab Police Cross Country Championship at Aspire Park on Monday for the categories of men and women.
