Vice-chairman of Camel Racing Organizing Committee Abdullah Al Kuwari said Saturday that the 2020-2021 events are ready, but ruled out announcing it now given all sporting activities are postponed in the State of Qatar and all over the world as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
He said that the committee is yet to make a decision on the new season as they await feedback from the state's designated authorities. He added that it is still early to make such a call given that the season starts in September.
He added that the committee is adhering to all precautionary measures, whether in terms of having only 20 percent of the workforce coming to office, with the rest engaging using video conferencing technology.
