The final match will see the winners of Al Sadd against Al Shahaniya on 24 April 2023 and Al Sailiya against Al Arabi on 25 April.
This will be the second time for Ahamd bin Ali Stadium - one of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 stadiums - to host the final match of the Amir Cup as the stadium previously held the final of the 48th edition on December 18, 2020, when Al Sadd won the title over Al Arabi.
On that day, the national day of Qatar, the stadium was inaugurated to be the fourth world cup stadium officially.
During the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Ahmad bin Ali Stadium hosted seven matches, the last of which was Argentina against Australia in the quarter-finals.
The stadium's design, and that of its surrounding buildings, mirrors aspects of the local culture and traditions. The intricate facade reflects the undulations of sand dunes, while intricate geometric patterns reflect the beauty of the desert, native flora, and fauna, as well as local and international trade. It is the perfect home for Al Rayyan SC when the tournament ends.
