Al Sadd has won the Amir Cup 2020 Finals held at the newly inaugurated Al Rayyan Stadium on 18 December 2020 which coincides with the Qatar National Day. They have won for the 17th time.
Bounedjah scored the first goal for Al-Sadd just four minutes into the game. In the 23rd minute of the first half, Aron Gunnarsson equalised for Al-ArabiThe second goal was also scored by Baghdad Bounedjah giving Al Sadd the lead against Al Arabi 2-1 by the time it was half-time.
The action was intense during the second half of the Amir Cup 2020 final, and even more tension in the final few moments of normal time, as the fourth official signalled for four additional minutes. Fahad Shanin got booked, Akram went off and was replaced by Ahmed Suhail.
