Al Duhail won the golden jubilee edition of H.H. the Amir Football Cup after a 5-1 victory over Al Gharafa on 18 March 2022 at Khalifa International Stadium, one of the stadiums of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

Edmilson Junior opened the scoring for Al Duhail in the 6th minute, while Michael Olunga added the second in the 18th minute. Al Duhail captain Almoez Ali netted the third goal for his side in the 52nd minute.
Ahmed Alaaeildin scored a goal for Al Gharafa in the 53rd minute but Al Duhail responded quickly via Ferjani Sassi in the 58th minute to make it 4-1. Abdelrhman Moustafa scored a wonderful goal in the 85th minute as Al Duhail sealed a 5-1 victory to win the 50th H.H. the Amir Cup.
