Al Bayt Stadium, which will welcome the world's best players at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, is close to completion. Its adjacent park will be officially open to the public on Qatar National Sports Day (11 February).
Equivalent to over 30 football pitches, the carefully designed park offers a beautiful, sprawling city escape.

The 60,000 seats for fans, produced by local company Coastal Qatar, are almost all installed. The stadium's inner architecture is nearly finished and the tunnels that players will emerge from in 2022 are ready. Lakes and water features have also been created.
A new barbecue kiosk is set to open at the grounds of Al Bayt Stadium park in Al Khor on February 11 to celebrate National Sports Day. BBQ kiosk is located near the entrance to the park; its large size, black and white stripes make it visible from a long distance. The outdoor seating area in front of the kiosk is overlooking the green zone and kids playing area where diners will find a delicious selection of grills on the menu.
Meat and chicken skewers served on wooden boards flank steak and lamp chops, prawns and salmon skewers, along with mezza and salads, sandwiches and homemade desserts.
Guests can also purchase raw marinated grills and grill them using one of the three equipped outdoor grill stations. After the park’s opening on Sports Day, both kiosks will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 12:30pm to 10pm)
