Barwa amends low-rent housing contract clause
Barwa Real Estate Company has revoked a clause in the lease contract of its low-rent housing units in response to requests from prospective tenants, a senior official of the company said yesterday. Article 17 in the contract stipulated that the tenants should keep household items worth the amount equalling the rent for the whole contract period (one year) and gave the owner the right to hold the tenants’ mobile properties.
