7km undersea cable project work begins 1/JUL/2009
The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has launched the implementation of the country’s first power submarine cable project. The first of its kind in the country, the submarine cable will cover a total of 7km to connect Ras Abu Aboud super station and West Bay super2 substation. The over QR763m project is expected to be completed by October 10, 2010.
