Zulal Wellness Resort is a unique destination for health, treatment, and wellness, the first of its kind in the Middle East, and the largest health tourism destination in Qatar, which relies on the principles of traditional Arab and Islamic medicine while adopting a holistic approach to provide a better lifestyle based on solid foundations of Qatari values and heritage.

Zulal Wellness Resort, which was designed to meet the needs of the present and the future, according to the vision of "Msheireb Properties" to develop sustainable communities and services linked to the Qatari culture. The name "Zulal" came from the water Al-Zulal, meaning pure water and it is also inspired by the journey of the existential connection with water as an essential element of life which forms a large part of Qatari culture and history.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Manager of Public Relations and Communication at Msheireb Real Estate Company Maryam Aljassim, said that Zulal Wellness Resort is one of the most important projects of Msheireb Properties, which adopts a sustainable approach in its projects and targets individuals and their quality of life so it worked to develop the resort with Chiva-Som International Health Resort, a global chain with a philosophy of wellness.

Aljassim added, "We are proud that Zulal Health Resort is the first of its kind in the Middle East that follows the health and wellness philosophy of the community for its therapeutic services to families and individuals, providing a unique experience for each visitor individually that helps them change their lifestyle and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The Manager of Public Relations and Communications at Msheireb Properties explained that the Resort contributes greatly to promoting the tourism sector, and is in line with the message of the State of Qatar, which focuses on developing modern, sustainable and environmentally friendly projects.

She pointed out that the current plan focuses on hosting the German national team in the resort, during its participation in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, where it was chosen according to the existing health standards and the appropriate environment for athletes.

The German Football Association said that the first team will be staying in Zulal Wellness Resort during the World Cup, and Germany Coach Hansi Flick added: "We have everything we need in Ruwais - we are just a short distance from Al Shamal Club stadium where we will train, the atmosphere is amazing. There it will help us focus and intensive training, and there is a very comfortable environment in the resort, and these are the most important things that I want as a manager." The Resort enjoys a special coastal location overlooking the Arabian Gulf in the northern tip of the State of Qatar, and is located near Al Khasouma area, 5 km from Al Ruwais, and enjoys a privileged private coastal location in the far north of Qatar, surrounded by the Arabian Gulf, and isolated to ensure maximum privacy, with easy access, as it is an hour and a half drive from the center of Doha.

Zulal Wellness Resort is committed to following the principles of sustainability and environmental conservation practices, and extends over an area of 280,000 square meters, and is divided into two parts, "Zulal Discovery", which is dedicated to families and welcomes visitors of all ages, and consists of 120 rooms and suites carefully designed to promote health and wellness, and "Zulal Serenity", which is the section designated for guests aged 16 years and over, and consists of 60 rooms and suites.

The Resort team helps guide guests through their wellness journeys, so that each guest can maintain a healthy lifestyle after the visit.
