The Ministry of Public Health announced in a tweet on March 31, 2022, that Shake Off Phyto Fiber drink, produced by the Malaysian company named EDMARK is not registered in Qatar; therefore, trade and selling of the mentioned drink is forbidden.

MOPH further mentioned that the claims made via promotions and advertisements through multiple platforms are not authentic or scientifically proven.
They also raised a warning and advised against using any pharmaceutical products that may not be registered in the country as the safety of their usage would not have been verified without the due examination. The typical examinations executed also ensure that the products do not contain any harmful substances; thus the regulation must be followed.
The MOPH has confirmed that they are taking the necessary action and communication towards the associated websites and social media accounts that are engaged in the promotion and selling of pharmaceutical products that are not licensed.
