The Peninsula newspaper reported on 10 September 2022 that Qatar Post has reduced delivery charges for medicine, medical reports & dietary products to QR 20 from QR 30.

This reduction in charge is in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) & the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC); therefore, HMC & PHCC patients can benefit from the change.

The reduced fee will be applicable until 31 December 2022.

It was reported that Dr. Moza Al Hail, Executive Director of HMC’s Pharmacy Department mentioned that the fee reduction is to make the service more accessible for patients.

How to avail of the delivery service:

HMC Patients

• Contact number: 16000
• Timing: Sunday to Thursday - 8 am till 2 pm

PHCC Patients

• Contact number: 16000 or assigned health center number
• Timing: Sunday to Thursday - 8 am till 2 pm

PHCC patients can also send a WhatsApp message to the assigned health center's number

Requirements to avail the delivery service:

• Valid health card
• Card to pay for medications & delivery fee
• Awareness of house and street address
