PHCC resumes face-to-face consultations at 100% capacity

The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) said that it would provide 100 percent in-person presence health consultations, such as family health, general dental services, and all other specialized services, as of Friday, 1 April 2022.

The step comes after the success of the first and second phases of restoring services to normal, in line with the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions imposed at the national level, PHCC added.

It indicated that it would continue to provide virtual consultations, according to the patient's preference, while the Rawdat Al Khail Health Center will continue to operate as a COVID-19 health center.

The drive-thru COVID-19 testing services are available in nine PHCC health centers:

  • Gharafat Al Rayyan
  • Al Rayyan
  • Leaibab
  • Al Wakra
  • Al Wajba
  • Al Khor
  • Al Thumama
  • Al Waab
  • Abu Bakr Al Siddiq

The centers operate from 4 pm to 11 pm on all days of the week. The drive-thru COVID-19 testing services have been stopped in five health centers: the Airport, West Bay, Umm Salal, Qatar University, and Mesaimeer.

PHCC underlined that it had taken strict preventive measures to control the COVID-19 spread and ensure safety, including smart scheduling of appointments, personal protective equipment, social distancing, and regular examinations of the virus for all workers and employees, as well as hygiene and sterilization protocols.

Also, it affirmed its commitment to providing high-quality integrated health services characterized by easy access to ensure the health and safety of society while adhering to all preventive and precautionary measures to support national efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
