The Ministry of Municipality and Environment, represented by the Animal Wealth Department, has launched the first phase of mobile veterinary clinics in selected areas of the country, namely Nakhsh area, Umm Bab and veterinary centers in doha qatar, and the number of these clinics is gradually increased in the coming years.
The first phase includes 3 clinics that serve some areas that are far from veterinary centers or that have a high density of livestock, with the aim of strengthening veterinary services provided in those areas.
The mobile clinics aim mainly to raise the capacity of veterinary services in dealing with epidemic diseases, to address disease hotspots as they occur, and to reduce the chances of infection spreading to other livestock. This initiative comes within the framework of developing the performance of the veterinary centers through increasing their numbers, and working to quickly respond to disease emergencies, especially those related to infectious and common diseases.
