Think Pink Mariott Marquis

Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel is again thinking pink for a purpose this October, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel is not only offering ‘’Think Pink Items’’ at Quick Bites and ‘’Pink Afternoon Tea’’ at West End Cafe throughout October, but it has committed to donate 10% of the proceeds from the sale of ‘’Pink Concept’’ for Qatar Cancer Society.

“We are delighted and proud to partner with Qatar Cancer Society for the third consecutive year to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness,” said Rick Enders, general manager at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel. “With this campaign, we aim to increase awareness of breast cancer and raise funds for research and honor those who have fought against it. We trust that our contributions have a part in helping both expanding awareness, and helping towards early detection.”

Pink Afternoon Tea in West End Cafe, priced at QAR 75 per person, will be served daily from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm from 1 October to 31 October 2018; complete with sweet and savoury treats that are, fittingly pink from scone basket to pink sandwiches and large variety of sweets. Furthermore, eye-catching ‘’Think Pink Items’’ such as donuts, eclair, meringue as well as pink pasta options will be available every day at Quick Bites from 6.00 am to 7.00pm. Throughout the month, guests of Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel are being invited to “pink their drink” with a selection of signature drinks, including Strawberry Cheesecake Frappe, Pink Lemonade and Lady in Bali.

Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel guests will enjoy either West End Cafe or Quick Bites pink offerings, and the satisfaction of knowing that a portion of their meal tab will go directly to the Qatar Cancer Society.
