Different varieties of honey in large quantity from Qatari apiaries at reasonable prices will be showcased for three days starting 7th December at Al Khor and Al Zakhira winter farmers’ market.
The honey festival is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment representative by the Agricultural Affairs Department to promote local honey products.
The fest is scheduled to be held one week (from Thursday to Saturday) at each winter farmers’ market. Al Wakrah winter farmers’ market will hold the honey festival next week from December 14 to 16, said the Ministry in a release.
The festival started from Al Mazrouha winter farmers’ market last week where a total of 1,027kg of Qatari honey and 39kg beeswax were sold out. (Source)
