Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced changes to the operating hours of a number of services for the Holy Month of Ramadan. All emergency and inpatient services across HMC’s network of hospitals will continue to operate as normal, 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The changes to operating hours affect a number of services delivered remotely via the national COVID-19 helpline number: 16000.

HMC’s OPD virtual clinics will run alongside HMC Urgent Consultation Clinics: Patients will be called for their virtual appointments between 9 am and 2 pm from Sunday to Thursday.

Ramadan timings: 7 days a week: 8 am to 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm to 11 pm

The diabetes hotline is run by trained diabetes educators with a backup physician.

HMC’s Nesma’ak Customer Service

Nesma’ak Customer Service helpline 16060 will operate Sunday to Thursday: 7 am to 10 pm; Friday and Saturday: 10 am to 4 pm.
