As part of its commitment to provide the best safe, caring and effective healthcare services for all residents in all regions of the country, Hamad Medical Corporation's (HMC) Ambulance Service Department has affirmed that it will continue its services in Sealine area throughout the camping period of this year.
Assistant Executive Director at HMC's Ambulance Service Abdulaziz Al Yafie said that the ambulance teams continue to perform their usual role in responding to all reports and emergency situations in all regions of the country, around the clock, in addition to the regular ambulance teams present in the Sealine area throughout the week.
In a press statement, he added that that the number of ambulances is increasing during the weekends in that region, where the number reaches 11 ambulances in addition to the presence of two helicopters that also respond to cases that are difficult to reach with ambulances, especially cases of serious injuries and critical situations.
Al Yafei said that from the 1st of November to the 4th of January, the National Command Center receives emergency calls on 999 asking for ambulance in Sealine reached 571 calls for different cases including car and motorcycle accidents and 149 cases of various injuries not caused by accidents.
It is worth noting that the ambulance fleet units located in Sealine can respond to emergencies through sand dunes without any obstacles and in record time.
The technical specifications of all-wheel drive ambulances were designed and modified with the latest safety equipment and supplies to suit the geographical nature of the Sealine area.
