The Ministry of Public Health announced on 15 February 2023 that five hospitals in Qatar have achieved a position within the list of the world’s top 250 academic medical centers as per the study issued by Brand Finance.

Brand Finance is a renowned UK-based world-leading brand valuation consultancy.

The hospitals and rankings are as follows:

Top 100 AMC Hospitals

• National Center for Cancer Care & Research: Ranking - 60 - Opened in 2004
• Hamad General Hospital: Ranking - 63 - Opened in 1982

World's Top AMCs 101-250

• Heart Hospital - Opened in 2011
• Rumailah Hospital - Opened in 1957
• Sidra Medicine - Opened in 2018

The ranking of five hospitals in the list also gives Qatar the highest number among the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The research conducted by Brand Finance studied 2,500 leading healthcare professionals across the world.
