The world of beauty is a vast realm of trial and error. When these trials are successful, it’s great! But unfortunately for us sometimes the errors are also here to stay. We’ve come up with a list of some of the craziest, and most viral beauty trends from over the last few months. You be the judge and let us know if you hate them or love them!

Wavy eyebrows

What seemingly appeared to be a joke to many actually became a THING. Yes, wavy brows are now trending. Here we all are, struggling to grow out our eyebrows to fit in with the thick, bushy, and natural brows trend and then wavy brows comes in to rain on our parade. Some of us are still struggling to fill in and shape our natural brows! What’s your take on this trend?

Glitter

On your face. On your body. On your hair. Shimmery eyeshadow is totally fine, but dunking your entire body in glitter to look like a walking-talking disco ball… questionable. People use glitter on their faces, brows, lips, hair roots, and other extremities. Using glitter for a costume or themed party is normal, but for a casual night out or a trip to the mall? Are you pro-glitter or no-glitter?

Chrome and holographic nails

Ok, chrome/holographic nails aren't so bad. Sure, they’re a bit distracting and if they catch the sunlight when you’re driving you might just get temporarily blinded, but all-in-all it’s not a super crazy trend. Many top-bloggers and celebrities such as Huda Kattan and Gigi Hadid have been spotted wearing chrome/holo nails. Nail length also matters. Some people like their gel nails to be super long, some like it to look natural.

Lip strobes

Huda Kattan’s latest beauty product is the Huda Beauty lip strobes. The lip strobes are actually lip glosses that you wear over liquid matte lipsticks. In all fairness the lip strobes look pretty good, but like everything in the beauty industry it doesn’t suit everyone’s tastes. The glosses comes in a variety of tones and are holographic — which is totally cool for festivals or parties, but maybe not so much for a quick coffee run.

Rainbow hair

Bright, vivid hair is now in. People are even doing rainbow ombré and rainbow dyes! Talk about unicorns. You’ll never get lost in a crowd! Again, rainbow hair would be cool for a costume party or a festival of sorts, but it can look a bit overwhelming on a daily basis. What are some of the craziest beauty trends that you’ve seen?
