Qatar Tourism Authority is hosting its annual Qatar summer festival. The event is supposed to be the largest one yet, boasting 29,000 square meters.

QTA is offering prizes worth up to 2 million riyals with offers from 56 hotel establishments and shopping outlets.

The festival will host a variety of entertainment for everyone such as football matches, social media influencer meet-ups, artist performances and comedians at Al Gharaffa Sports Club. You can buy the tickets at any virgin megastore in Qatar for only QAR 25.

For Arabic speakers, we highly recommend that you attend The Doha Comedy Festival which will feature 18 Arab stand-up Comedians from the region from the 18th to the 20th of August.

There will be a daily Fireworks show at the Corniche during the entire month of August, at 9pm.

The Doha Exhibitions & Convention Centre will offer entertainment for all age groups with a range of archade games, rides, live stage performances and a variety of food outlets. It will be open Saturday to Thursday from 1pm to 11pm, and on Friday from 1pm-till midnight. The entry ticket is priced at only QAR 15 while the price of rides and games starts from QAR 5 or you could just get a VIP ticket for QAR 120.

If you love shopping, several retail outlets at Lagoona Mall, Landmark Mall, Gulf Mall, Ezdan, Al Khor Mall, Hyatt Plaza, City Centre, Dar Al Salam and The Pearl-Qatar are offering sales and promotions as well as live entertainment. That's not all! When shop, you will also be entered into a weekly raffle draw for the chance to win a total of 15 prizes ranging from cash to 4 Jaguar Cars!!!
