You’ve probably seen the stickers that say Tamim Almajd or ‘Tamim the Glorious’ on every car and building. It’s a small act, but holds great meaning to show solidarity with Qatar and the Emir.
If you didn't know already, this was sketched by the Qatari artistAhmed Al Maadheed. The sketch went viral after he posted it on social media, and now he has his own exhibition to showcase his artworks that have sparked a new wave of patriotism.
If you couldn’t get your hands on the sticker from one of the areas with the huge sign boards, you can pass by and get one if you’re in any of these restaurants or cafés:
*Correction: July 12, 2017, 3:56 pm - Sugar & Spice does not distribute stickers. And Cafe 11:11
