WOQOD announced in a tweet on 15 August 2022, that they have opened their largest station yet under the name of Sawdanatheel 2.

The station is located 30 km after the Abu Samra Border in the direction of Doha and spans 30,000 square meters.

Furthermore, it was mentioned that the station is equipped with electric vehicle charging units which are partially powered by solar energy and it has 12 petrol pumps along with 2 for diesel.

It also has a 'Sidra Garden' which has restaurants and shops catering to visitors.

The station will also provide all required vehicle services that motorists would require.

They also mentioned that this station is expected to accommodate the expected visitors during the World Cup 2022.
