The Al Shamal Municipality in Qatar, in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment's Natural Reserves Department, has identified a strip of beach in the Al-Mamlha (Al-Ghariya) area which can be used exclusively for women so they can enjoy the beach in privacy.

The women's only beach will cover an area of 15,000 square metres and will be fenced on all sides. Entrance will be through specially made entry points to ensure the privacy of women at the beach and security is maintained. The beach will also include tables, chairs and BBQ spots.
Work on this special beach is underway at the moment so the beach can be open soon.
